Hello, Friends! Miss Megan here with some fun extension activities to go along with our first ever Facebook LIVE class! Today we read Little Blue Truck and sang some fun, farm-themed songs, so of course we need some fun farm-related activities to continue our PLAY!
Each week I will share some ideas for movement, sensory, and craft exploration you can do at home with your littles. Here we go!
Check out this silly, farm-themed yoga activity. This is sure to get you and your little ones giggling and MOO-VING!
Parents of babies, help your little one do modifications of these movements down on a comfy blanket.
Now this activity is a little messy (Yay! My favorite!). Grab an empty tote or fill up your sink, it’s time to
wash those muddy farm animals!
Parents of babies, let your little one squish around in some chocolate pudding for a tasty, baby-safe mud experience!
No theme is complete without a little craft time. This particular craft also crosses over into dramatic and pretend play once it’s finished, and who can resist a farm puppet show?
Parents of babies, print out and color your own farm puppets and use them as you sing “Old McDonald” or another fun farm song. Using puppets or small stuffed animals is a great tool for working on visual tracking!
Thanks for playing with us today! Check back next Wednesday at 1 pm for another Facebook LIVE class!
We Play. We Learn. We Love.
